The badger is a marten with a compact body that can become 32 to 90 cm in length. In appearance, the badger is easily recognizable on the white and black parts of the head, otherwise it is mainly gray. They live in small pots underground during the day and are most active at night. Badgers are omnivores and the food can consist of, for example, vertebrates, insects and plant parts. They can cause problems when building pots under real estate.
