BUMBLEBEES

The bumblebee has a strong and hairy body that goes in yellow, black and white. They have a sting that is difficult to see. The females produce wax which is used to form containers for nectar. Most bumblebees live in communities formed by a fertilized queen that has hibernated, but there are also parasitic bumblebees that parasitize on other bumblebee's nests. The bumblebee is an important pollinator because it also pollinates plants that are not affected by honeybees.

How to avoid them:

  • Bumblebees are attracted to flowers and rarely attack.

Suitable treatments: bumblebees are important pollinators and should not be controlled.
